Hi Everyone,

In continuing discussions with Scientific Anglers about production capabilities and practical realities we will no longer be carrying WF3Fs. It was a difficult decision to make but in reality we sold very few WF3Fs and with minimum orders for lines going up economics dictated we had to give something up. I'm sure we've disappointed some customers and I apologize for that but I would suggest if you're looking for a 3 weight line please try the DT3Fs. You may be surprised and if you are unhappy with it please return to us for a complete refund.

Thanks for your understanding,

Tom & Alexis

Thank you for the announcement, Tom. Some consumer feedback to validate your sales data and this inventory decision - I prefer DT lines on glass rods under 5 weight. In the 5 and 6 weight range, I use a mix of WF and DT, depending on the situation, and for 7 weight and higher, I use WF.

Your DT6 is my go-to floating line when I’m fishing a 6 weight for trout. It’s excellent on both modern and vintage glass rods. I recently picked up your DT5, and I’m looking forward to putting it to use soon.

Thanks for the compliment. Your feedback validates my general thinking and recommendations to people on line weights and sizes.
