Tomo, says progressive parabolic, I agree. But just having it in the shop and not casting it yet I can't offer much more info. I did flex the rod and I was surprised because I thought it would be quite slow coming from Ijuin, but the rod has low end power, yet will flex right into the cork.

I have the 7'3" semi para which is quite a powerful and fast rod rated a 4 but definitely capable of casting a 5wt. I have never cast the others but all the descriptions I've read point to minimum power slower rods so was wondering what this new, longer rod is like. Will be interesting to hear once you have built it up.

Finished one up. Nice full flex rod, not to soft. Cast great with a 406 line.

Just received several of these blanks from Tomo......

I think I'm really going to like this taper!

Feels a little faster and less parabolic than his 7'5" hard para.....which I love.
