Fulcrum blank came today--looks great. Also got the handle kit and was pleasantly surprised at no reaming needed!

Has anyone fished with #7 or #8 wt Proof glass.
Is it fast or slow?
How they handle big streamers and heavy/short belly lines?

I'm interested to hear reviews/opinions on the 8wt. Hopefully, someone has put this rod through it's paces.

Thanks,

Dave

I have fished the hell out of my Proof 8wt. It's a fun and powerful rod. I use it for LMB and occasionally for tiger muskie. I like mine with a Rio OBS 8wt. This combo will throw big flies with ease and is a good caster. Feel free to PM me with any specific questions.
