Hi everyone,
At long last the new 2-5wt. down-locking seats have arrived. We currently have the seats in burl and cork (more inserts coming soon). We also have a new version of the Atlas up-locking seat with an exposed front hood. Both seats work great for new builds as well as retro-fitting a new seat to a grip. Finally, we also received a shipment of 6.5" torpedo grips. I've included links below. Thanks for all of the input along the way!

Matt, good job. these look nice. I'd like to try one of your downlockers but I don't see the specs listed on your webpage. What is the ID of the threaded spacer?

Thanks, I just added the info to the listings. The ID of the threaded barrel is: .591" The bore of the spacer is: .400" (stints can be ordered to fit larger glass blanks).

I looked over all your offerings page by page on your site.
I must say you have great products at a very reasonable price. Very nice.

I really like the look of the downloading reel seat with the cork insert.

I've been looking for a all metal downlocking reel for bigger glass rod. No luck.

That is a tough one. Seems the option of adding a fighting butt on heavy rods has taken priority.

For glass rods. It balances better with heavier glass rods. You can always put 1inch cork fighting butt to a downlocking seat.

Your web page is the model of straight forward simplicity and I love it. I will also be ordering some down lockers from you soon they look great! That torpedoed grip is right about perfect also. Very nice
