Thanks. This rod does require more work than a simple blank assembly. Designing and making rods made of two different materials is tougher than all cane or all glass designs. Just when you think you got it all right, the rod surprises you. Repurposing the very last of the phenolic glass NOS does work well before you can say good bye the to 20th century. I just did some measurements against my 21 century glass blanks. Right now, an 8' 2" or so 4wt looks like a possibility! Just what I like for spring creeks. Stay tuned...
