Just some "new" offerings and tweeked a couple things in the rod builders blanks department. With the winter approaching I like to tinker around and build rods during "cabin fever" time. Yes the blanks I offer are imported from a few different manufacturers, but these are great fishing tools at economical prices to keep up the habit. I brought in some new tapers and designs to play with, and sorted through the "best of the best" so to speak. I am really happy with the performance of these and they are constantly improving in my opinion.
Here is just a couple pics, descriptions found on my website (playing around with a new one, feel free to look around, trying to improve and some family pics.). http://www.mtnbrookrods.com

Also, I will be taking orders for the Mountain Brook Classic Fly Reel I offered last year, I will take 10 orders in SILVER only. 10 spots left (deposit of 50 dollars) Reel Price $115. I had an issue with color that just didn't cut it for me in this production run, so I held off and trying again on brown and black. Silver should be done Mid January.

Mike, your website doesn't seem to be loading - are you still selling blanks?

Last I heard Mike was re-vamping his site -- that was a couple weeks ago.

A 7' Big Pine 4/5wt, building it up for my kids to mess with. Got to say it wiggles nicely.

I'm not familiar with that one. I built out the 7' Little Pine. I like this blank. It's a tip over butt ferrule, 4wt.
