I have more info on these blanks/models/tapers on my website.

I've been working hard on getting more tapers and designs done and I am now ready with blanks in stock. My goal for several years had been to break away from CTS and have all my blanks made in the USA. After lots of time, work, and buying the glass here are the tapers/models that I have finished.

From top to bottom
Seele Customs - I made a post on these already, but they are the Seele tapers/models but painted.
Signature S glass - black uni S glass, light and very strong. I already have some reviews on these and they are loved.
The Classic - Another S glass rod, opaque brown glass, med/fast action with solid machined spigots that are hand lapped and fit. As far as look I would say a cross between a Morgan and a Steffen.
The last two are the Signature E glass, a uni E glass with the same tapers as the yellow glass I did several years ago. I am offering them in translucent yellow and translucent brown.

Good for you. Looks like you covered all the bases-- there's something for everybody in your blank choices. Did you say all are rolled in the USA?

Shane, that's awesome! I applaud your willingness to go the extra mile for a quality USA blank. Will you share the name of the manufacturer?

Thanks Dusty.

picketpin52, wow I am surprised it took a whole day before someone asked that question. Unlike when I was dealing with CTS I am confident on these tapers staying proprietary. The blanks are made by Mike McFarland.

Wow! Graywolf/McFarland sounds like a winning combination.

Cheers,

Randy, I think the 6wt's are the heaviest I will go. Seele and EPIC make some great heavy line weight glass.

KWDK, thanks!

I am with Randy. An 8+ wt would have been nice in S glass black.

Thanks, Stefan I love the black also. The black S-glass is the lightest I've ever seen. As far as an 8wt, I would love to do something like that, I fish 8wt rods often but still have not found the perfect mix of power, and flex.... been close. The Seele 888 and 828 are very nice, a similar taper in the black S glass might be perfect. You should send me a PM or give me a call, and we can work on them.
