It was great meeting Chris(and Stella, a truly wonderdog) and seeing Tomo again at the Catskill Rod Gathering last weekend. I finally got to try the 64p, and I have to say it was the nicest short rod I cast all weekend - Chris has done a phenomenal job on this taper - just so easy to cast both close in and further. Really a pleasant casting rod! Also, the aesthetics of the rod are very attractive and grew on me - the contrast between to black spigots and yellow blank is just right. Kudos to Chris for developing one of the nicest short rods that I've had the pleasure of casting.

I also had the opportunity to meet up with Chris, Tomo, and Stella. I thought the 75p was on awesome rod!

I would echo everything that SAltsh said about Chris' little yellow para. It's a truly wonderful taper. Glad to finally have a chance meet Chris in person ... and Stella too.

Bob, Steve, & Duff - it was GREAT to meet you! I'm glad to finally have faces and personalities to go with the names. Thanks so much for the praise and encouragement about my rods - it's a real honor.
Stella says hello. :)

ARReflections - thank you!

So far I've bought the 75p and the 64p. I don't think Chris is done with this series and I'll likely have other "p" fly rods around taking money from my bank account. Money well spent as these tapers are just so excellent.

Ok so Chris was kind enough to send me a 64P to try.The workmanship on the rod was absolutely gorgeous. These our my feelings about the rod only.Rio gold 4wt. Was a little to much and it did handle a rio gold 3 well so I went with a old SA XPS DT 4 on a ryobi 255 mg size 14 dry and beadhead dropper rig and headed down to the river. With a little line out I could tell the beadhead was a little much felt much better when I got more line out. I took off the dropper and the WOW factor kicked in and did everything really well with little effort and a lot of what a great dry fly rod would feel like.Chris thanks for the opportunity to spend sometime with this sweet rod......aurelio

Kudos to Chris for offering a short 4 piece rod like this. I don't think we can find anything else like this. I hope to own one eventually.
