Just got my Ijuin 5' 11" 3pc. 3wt.Rod from Chris Barklay. The workmanship on this rod is outstanding.Just casting side by side with my 6' Steffen the Ijuin has a heavier swing weight which feels really good in close forms nice loops and very accurate. The Steffen will cast a little tighter loop do to the finer tip,and the Steffen is a lighter rod.well I will head to the Red and see how she fishes.Chris this rod is a keeper and I am proud to own such a beautiful piece, thank you so much for holding it for me......aurelio

Hi Aurelio, I'm very glad to have that rod (and am a bit jealous). I couldn't think of a better home for it and know you will put her to good use. Now, I need to get myself out there to see your waters!

Chris
Did I cast this one the last time you were in town? I seem to remember a couple of Banty rods ;) and as you know I have a weakness for good short sticks...

Les and Jason, yup that's the one you both handled. She's a sweetie. I hope Tomo issues these blanks on a permanent basis soon.
