Something New!!

I have been working w/ an overseas producer to bring some new blanks and rods to the market. These are the first ones.

These are 2 pce, tip over butt ferrule, in an olive green color.
The first batch will have:

6' 2wt
7' 3wt
7 1/2' 4wt
8' 5wt
8 1/2' 6/7 wt

I am taking pre-orders for the first round of blanks. It will take 3-4 weeks for the blanks to arrive.
Retail price will be $59.95
I will offer a discount to board members and offer them for $50 shipping inc. This is a limited time offer, ending November 30th.

Now, about the blanks.
The 2 and 3 wts have a nice med/slow action.
the 4,5, and 6/7 have a medium action.
They are made from E-glass.

I am also working on a translucent white blank w/ spigot ferrules. These will take more time to get the bugs worked out and the tapers finalized.

If you would like to purchase a blank or finished rod, PM me.

I needed to find something to replace the custom Lamiglas blanks I was using. Last order took over 5 months and I had to refund several customers. I ended up canceling the order.

Mike, too bad about the lami blanks. Did you order direct from the factory or from a third party?

No matter, I've built on offshore blanks in shorter lengths and lighter line weights, between 6'-7'3" / 2,3,4wts. (and I know others on this forum have too). They may not win a prize for distance casting, and may, just as any other blank, have a discernible (or not) cosmetic blemish, but these blanks make more than serviceable fishing rods.

Good luck!
