As many of you have already seen in the Rod Photo section, Bozeman Rod, the sister company of Bozeman Reel is producing a line of James Green Fiberglass Fly Rods. There are three primary models: 7' 3wt 3pc, 7'4" 4wt 3pc, and a 7'9" 5wt 3pc. Standard builds include a Flor Grade Cork Cigar Grip, Lemke Uplock or Cap and Ring Reel seats with wood sourced from Reelseatblanks.com, Mildrum Stripping Guides, Universal Snake Brand Guides, and comes in a brown and gold Landmark Rod Tube. All parts are sourced in the USA and a standard build is $500.00. Custom options such as different shaped grips, Agate Guides through Joe Arguello, and Downlocking Seats are available. Prices will be quoted on request.

There will be an outfit available through Bozeman Rod and Bozeman Reel as well. Outfits will pair a Bozeman Rod with an SC Reel (RS is available as a substitute), and a Blue Ribbon Net (another Bozeman area company), for $1000.00.

We will have our website up to date with Rod details shortly, I will announce when this happens. We will be designing some new blanks in the fall as well. In the meantime please PM me with any questions. Please check out our Facebook page, Links to Bozeman Reel and our Facebook page are at the bottom.

Good luck on the new project, Dusty! Any chance of offering some longer rods? I have never had the chance to cast the 9'2" 5 weight Greywolf or McFarland rods, but it just seems there could me some more offerings in the 8 and half foot range in 4 and 5 weights.

We have a limited run of 7'4" 5wts available, I would call them a medium action. They will be $500.00. PM me with questions or orders.
