Cover your butt!

My thoughtful gal got me these "Butt covers" for Christmas. I really got a kick out of them and figured others might find them handy as well. They fit by stretching over the butt of the rod; seems like they will stay on but you could always glue them in place to be sure. Merry Christmas!

Neat gift, thoughtfully chosen (a bit whimsical?), and nicely photographed on that outfit. I bet that item brings on a smile for a long, long time.

Yes, a bit whimsical, like her. Which is a good thing because that means she's OK with the fact I'm getting more enjoyment from this than other more costly gifts. :D

I like these I use them myself. I usually try to remember to take them off for photos though ... lol

Where can you find these and about how much are they? These are great. Barry.

She got them at our local fly shop. http://www.californiaflyshop.com/ I didn't see them on their website so you'll probably have to give them a call. I'm not sure of cost but I wouldn't think they would be very expensive.

Cabela's has them or at least they had them last summer.

Feather-craft has them as well, about $9 for a pkg of three. I like them. They stay on.

They look perfect; especially for vintage rods. Way cool; thanks for the post!

I've been using these on at least some of my rods for the past 15 years or so. They work remarkably well. I haven't seen them for a while, glad to see they are still available.
