You don't see a lot of them. The only two examples I can google up are short, 4' and 5', and appear to be solid glass.
Solid glass isn't bad in short - my daughter's go-to creek rod was 4' Airex solid glass (she had many other choices). Decent rod - but solid glass flexes more than tubular glass and, of course is heavier for the same length. .

The bent of FFR has never really been reservoir bass fishing, though many of us overlap fishing many different types of water and game targets.

It's kind of random to talk about any casting rod without a specific niche. Longer vintage glass casting rods often function best on spincast because of major tip flex.
Eagle Claw, Harnell, Silaflex and Heddon all made some good rods that fit here.
Into the '50s, cane and even steel bass rods were superior.
adding a ps here - these soft-tip rods becomes fairly fast with light weights, and could fish well in bait finesse.

A problem you run into with glass bass rods is they get heavy with longer fast tips, which is why shorter fast tips became the norm for bass rods in the '70s.
There have been many good glass bass rods made by Heddon, Fenwick, Phillipson, Garcia/Conolon, Berkley, Lew's, later Falcon Glass.

What are you looking for?

Well I had just bought a 5' rava glass rod with a pistol grip. I planned on using it as a small pond/kayak bass rod but I cant find much info on it as far as lure weights and so on.

It will probably fit there - I would expect it to flex deep and fish ML.

If you want to fish a Zara Spook, look at the last rods on my list above.

Do you think it'll have any chance at throwing 1/8 oz rapalla minnows with a bfs reel?

probably just the right weight range.
If it has an offset reel seat (made for round reel - see my Old School Bass Glass thread), you may have a tough time with low profile casting clutch and thumbing the spool.

It does have an offset reel seat. Was hoping to pair it with a conquest bfs or build a reel like a 51s or morrum.

Conquest is Round - a Morrum project is my kind of fun, and Many good parts available - start at AMO store on Ali.

Morrum is definitely the route I want to go but like with other abu reels...lh models are $400-500 or more. Which to be honest isn't much more than a new conquest bfs but at least I've had a conquest before and know how to mess with them.

could always go with the Morrum's lookalike, Abu Black Max 1600 or Pro Max.. small round reels, Swedish-made solid and smooth, level wind is fixed when casting, will cast 1/8oz very happily. The only downside is no aftermarket spool, still the original spool is fairly light and small. They may take a while to find on ebay, mine was $40 plus shipping. The Pro Max is more like $60-80 which gets you a few more irrelevant ball bearings.

I have one which I tuned up during hard water season, looking forward to taking it fishing. Originally had planned to put in ceramic bearings, after washing and oiling with TSI 321 the original bearings are as good as any of the ceramics I've used.
They come with white brake shoes, get the blue ones instead for lighter lures, part # 20209.

There are aftermarket mag brakes available for these, plan to fish a while first with the oldfashioned centrifugal brake and see.
The drag uses the same washers as 4000 to 6000 C3 and C4 so is easy to upgrade, find the Carbontex washers that correspond to Abu part # 20907 or 1116906. I haven't bothered as the stock drag is all I need for bass, walleye, occasional reservoir trout.

pm sent

most spools for Everything are OOS - I checked SDS in Ukraine who normally keeps AMO stock.

@doug centrifugal brakes will work fine with heavier weights - but they will make you think casting 1/16 oz with a baitcaster is not possible - but it IS.
BlackMax and SilverMax are a great choice to rebuild to BFS.
