Been catching some fish with this combo: Eagle Claw ECP reel and an unknown six foot Eagle Claw rod. The rod has clearly been rewrapped and refinished. Any guesses on the rod model, era, etc? Thanks.

Cabelas sold a whole lot of Eagle Claw blanks in the 70s, when their bread and butter was catalog lure-making and rod-building.
A family friend from out of state, who joined us for a week at a cabin and boat dock on Lake LBJ, built his first just for that trip.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I like this rod. It is super soft.
