Back in 1969 or 1970, I bought a very light action 6' Browning Silaflex spinning rod. It had a typical Silaflex handle & grip (not sliding rings) and was not a typical medium action but rather was suitable for ultra-light lures & etc.

Does anyone have an idea of what Model# this rod was? I broke the tip of my rod while closing a door years ago, and would really like to begin searching for another example that I could use for replacing the tip section. The sticker with the Model# has long worn off my rod. Thanks all.

Browning made a 6 foot spinning rod, No. 332910. Just Google the name and the number, look at the "images" and you will see a picture of that model.

Thanks for that info, Dennis! Unfortunately the photos for the No. 332910 model show a line rating of 8 -15 and lure wt of 1/2 to 1 1/4. So it's a medium medium heavy action. The model I have is more of a 1/8 to 3/8 type of action. Sigh.

OK, try again, with No. 332906. It's a 6 foot light "trout" action rod.

Just one more model to add. It's model 332905, and it's an ultra light, but the grip has two sliding bands.
