Anyone seen or tried one of these? Just wondering, looks like a nice modern glass spinning option if you have to wander from the long rod.

Funny you should ask, I was looking at those about 2 days ago and I think I am going to pick one up. I will let you know if I do.

I've wiggled them at the local BassPro. They DON'T feel like the Silaflex rods of old. They feel like modern graphite. Very stiff with just a little bit of flex in the tip. I did not get a chance to test cast one.

The rod build looks fine in a modern fashion. Single foot ceramic guides, Fuji style reelseats, epoxy wrap finish, decent cork with filler. Nothing fancy, but nothing nasty either.

Test cast one before you buy. The price is very decent if you can live with the fast action.
