Just picked up a Heddon solid white glass casting rod. It has gold coated guides on it and the portion of the grip that sets ahead of the reel looks like their early rods with wooden piece where rod comes into handle (but is a plastic look alike). Wondering if anyone has an idea when these rods where made?
