As an alternative, I’m looking toward the CTS 804 crystal glass rod blank. I’ve built rods from CTS graphite blanks, and they are faster action and very high quality. Does anyone have experience with their glass, especially the 4 weight?

I fish a CTS crystal glass 8' 4wt. It is one of my favorite glass rods . With a rio gold 4wt wf , a( 4.5 wt really) It casts long and short really well with singles, or hopper/droppers. Wonderful when fighting decent trout. cheers, dave
