Has anyone cast a Hardy Sirrus 7’6” 4/5wt Glass Rod? How do you like it?

Just wiggled it - the 7'6" and 8' rods seem like fast tapers while the 7' is a slower, deeper bending rod. No idea if they are nice to cast. Surprisingly there is very little info out there regarding these rods.

I own the 7’6” 4/5. It is a nice rod. Definitely on the fast side of glass but still has great feel. The action feels similar to the epic 476 to me. I really love the grip and seat on that rod too. If you are looking for a review, there was one in the fibreglass manifesto a couple years back.

Thing with these factory rods (Orvis and Thomas & Thomas included, Scott might be the only exception) is that it's too pricy as an extra 'fun rod' for the general public and not 'bespoke' enough for crazy guys like us here at the forum.

Price is OK for factory rod. Right in between Echo and Orvis (all three I think quite decent all-around rods)
