Had the BAG 10wt out from 11am to 9pm today, lined with Rio Pike/Muskie 10wt intermediate tip (400 grains).
I think this is a great rod.
Swing weight was more than manageable even though the rig wasn't anywhere near balanced. I like the length. I was fishing for tiger muskie and didn't need to break out any truly massive flies (read: articulated monstrosities/truly huge streamers, etc.) but I was casting 7-8" foamhead divers all day effortlessly to 60' (all that is really needed where I fish for tiger muskie) in 20-25 mph wind that constantly changed directions. And yes, I did measure.
I didn't try to push it distance-wise because I didn't need to and probably won't need to in the near future. That said, in the right hands this thing could be a true cannon.
Effortless is really the way I'd describe casting this rod. If I let the rod do its thing the line just shot out, regardless of the direction of the wind. When I lost focus and reverted to muscle-ing it the rod gasped at my presumption and I ended up with a shoddy cast. I bring this point up because one of my other muskie sticks, a TFO TiCr X 10wt almost encourages bad form in windy conditions in my hand, anyways. I like the TFO a lot but it actually responds fairly well to forcing a cast and I tend to develop bad habits (that somehow work well enough) when I use it for awhile.
Arm/shoulder fatigue: NONE. Like I said, I fished from 11-9 and took a handful of 10 minute breaks. I feel great. If it stayed light out longer I'd still be at the lake fishing. I like the TFO and my other graphite muskie rods a lot but I can't say that at the end of a long day of fishing them.
Final thoughts: the price is right and the length and weight are (surprisingly) right (in my hands, at least). I am not a great caster by any means (as many of you are!) but I had a blast casting this rod. It did everything I wanted it to. The TFO is now a backup.
The fish: well, I didn't land any! I hooked into two in the 35" range and lost them both. I honestly don't know how the one managed to shake the hook. The other bit through my 60lb mono bite tippet literally when I was about to land it. Next time.
