That is certainly true but in Germany fly shops are few and far between. Glass is even harder to get. Most shops only sell graphite rods for the mainstream market.

Mend provisions in south Minneapolis, Echo, Scott, Orvis, Redington, Hardy Glass and interesting stuff that goes through there. Mike is a good dude. Call ahead for inventory.

It was already mentioned in an earlier post, so I'll just add to it. The Little River Outfitters (aka, Little River Fly Shop or LRO) carries Orvis glass rods as well as the Redington Butter Stick. (I recently bought an 8' 5 wt. Butter Stick from them). They are located right in the middle of Townsend, Tennessee next door to the post office right off HWY 312. All of the guys there are extremely knowledgeable and they will let you cast the rod. They also carry a very large supply of flies and fly tying materials. You can also order anything they carry on line.

Dakota Angler now carries Livingston Glass rods. The have a whole page devoted to fiberglass setups.

Stopped in to Little River this past weekend and they also carry the new TFO glass rods.
