Still pretty new around here but im finding my way. I’ve recently added some new glass rods and am wondering if anyone has any input on one in-particular?

The rod in question is a Grizzly fenwick model FL1082. It’s 110 inches long and might easily be an 8wt or more? At this point pictures are beyond me so verbiage is all i have to share.

A mid 60’s Wonderod fy-110; a Phillipson Master (green) and a 9ft 8wt Orvis graphite showed up as well.

I'll take a guess; FL 108 should denote a rod built on a 2 piece blank 108" long, yours could have been extended a couple of inches by the builder, or the 108 could have been nominal rather than actual length. The Fenwick wiki page https://wiki.fiberglassflyrodders.com/wiki/Fenwick only shows one 9' production rod on the Grizzly blanks #335 as a 9wt., so I'd guess yours might be the same blank, 9' 9wt. custom built.
The main wiki page https://wiki.fiberglassflyrodders.com/wiki/Main_Page has links to information on most rod makers in the left side bar, you can try to find your Shakespeare and Phillipson on their pages. There's not much graphite info on this site
There is also a Search button near the top right that will let you find many past posts, enter you rod info and find what was said about it previously.

Instructions for posting pictures (it's pretty easy here) are found https://fiberglassflyrodders.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=74901

Thanks for the input Trev; id previously found the wiki pages which get scrutinized regularly.
The picture thing worked for me this time and wasn’t difficult; once i added one. Being able to add photos will be nice. Once the weather settles i’ll set up horses and take pictures of them all. Im sure members will have comments on my quiver as most anything i know about vintage glass; i’ve learned right here over the last couple months!
