Hello Again, here is the other Scott glass I mentioned getting I knew it was fairly tough to find, scarce is a good word. Larry Kenney saw this rod at the same time as the Yellow glass that I showed. pictures of. I do hope to be able to post these pics too, At the time this rod a Scott power-Ply, 8ft 3pc 6wt model F-81in the slightly later cocoa brown glass Larry said that because the 4 and 5pc rods had become so popular and were such great fishing rods the 3 pc models are not and very few were made, He suggested that only around 20, maybe fewer. This rod being made in the late 70's early 80's it has a very nice medium fast action for a 6wt line. It is in great shape was made for a professor of law, his card is taped to the rod tube, and Larry knew the guy and said he was a regular customer having many rods made. I think these rods are part of history and evolution of fiberglass rod technology. They can be appreciated in that way as well as such fun rods to fish. Here are some pics for you.
