A little while back I bought a rod at an antique store for all of $5. It's a Brooklure by Spiegel and it's a 2-piece 9'-0"(groan!), brown glass with a small diameter down locking metal reel seat, metal ferrules, and plainly finished with green thread. I did some searching online but have found nothing. Anyone know anything about these rods?

Thanks for the information on the Brooklure rod. While the link focused on bamboo, it was helpful and there is a definite linkage between those rods and glass rod that I have. I'll have to get some photos of my rod posted.
