Took about six months off of rod hunting to fish and enjoy the summer. Started back up perusing my usually hunting grounds (not typically Ebay) and this is the first rod I found that piqued me (though I have a few more coming). Only one other specific post on this rod in this site, and those photos are gone.
Nice condition, no sock or tube...the grip was lightly soiled...I took some 320 to it, because I like clean cork...in researching, it appears the Fly fox was only produced for a couple years.
At 7.5' its a wonderful medium/slow, smooth caster. Really love the feel in the backyard. Its a deep bending rod. It took well to a WF4, DT5 and WF6. Any of these lines are perfect depending on the need. I didn't pay up for it.
PS : The white in the bottom of the butt seat cap/hood is reflection. There is no missing paint.
