Just took delivery of a 10 ft, 3 piece, Black Arrow, double handed light salmon/ sea trout rod made by Edgar Sealey . It’s in very good condition and I had never previously came across this rod. My pics were too big for forum apart from one but I will try and amend them to post again later. The rod interested me as at 10ft it is on the small side for a salmon rod but ideal for our clubs waters (smaller spate rivers), but also because like the other rod in the picture (10ft Glane/ Edgar Sealey trout rod) it is of a good quality as well as being robust ad durable. I think some of these Edgar Sealey vintage rods are under appreciated and the number of them still about is testimony to their quality. And yes they are on the heavy side but used sparingly I find them great to fish and very reliable.

a handsome rod indeed.. as a two-hander it shouldn't be too bad to fish..
you really need another big old Gordon to put on it though ;-)
I have a 4" which is too big for anything in the Rocky Mountains, a shelf queen sadly. Next spring I'll put an 8wt on it and throw things at pike..
