Bought this off the bay, does anyone have a clue as to make?? Unsanded, hollow spigots, not a label mark anywhere. The blue and bling is a bit much, but I kinda like it. 7'6" put together.
I thought maybe Lamiglas with the pictures the seller had up, but haven't seen a unsanded yellow Lami?

Nearly certain it's a Lamiglas Galaxy Combo Fly/Spin.

This is a Galaxy P761 - 7'6" - said to fish as a 6/7 WT on the fly side. I purchased it to strip it down and convert it to a fly-only setup but never did anything with it. Haven't fished it myself.

I've seen pix of this rod with the blue wraps like yours. There is one other thread lurking somewhere of a simialr rod that looked to be a Lami build marketed as a local store brand. I'll try to dig that up for ref.

I also think Lamiglas, and the blue wraps look familiar. I've seen them on something. Royal blue with silver mylar.

And don't knock the bling. :hat

That’s a Lamiglas Galaxy. Looks like the full-on fly version. Nice 6 weight!

Thanks for the help. Kinda surprised Lami didn't label it...but who knows, it came off, whatever. Not sure I have every seen an unsanded yellow lami, but I haven't built on them since the 70's! Now I have seen one.... I even commented on that thread linked above in 2016.

I'll string it up and get it wet soon....

HA! You did comment on it, didn't you. It's a little hard to pick up in the pick I attached but that fly/spin is unsanded as well. Really nice finish on the blank but the wrap ridges are pretty prevalent.

Keith , Your rod would have had the cursive script In black . It was a thin font they came off easy on those Unsanded blanks .
Ive sold two in the past both had blue wraps with sketchy labels.
Earl Grant over at fishing collectibles Dot com has a minty one in 8ft
Check the script label fully intact..

Jeffroey that spin/fly Lami is way cool ..
Hope this helps.
