I found this package as I was cleaning out my RV and wanted to share them here. I got it with some other items a few years back and thought I would share it here. I have many photos of the flyers, pamphlets and available models as well as wholesale pricing in the package. If anyone would like to see them let me know and I can post the rest here.

I had a Silaflex 8 weight, probably 8'6" or 9'0" that I pared up with either a 1495-1/2 or 1496. I bought both new although the rod was NOS at the time. The first thing I caught on that rod was a seagull, I snagged on a forward cast!!

I sold that combo years later for what I paid for it because graphite had my interest.

I wish I still had it...

Thanks for sharing - of course, I would like to see the reels, but I don't think Browning bought marked reels until the 70s.

I bought my first Browning Lew's about 1983, and fished it hard to about 1997.


Also remember in the 90s, they were selling a really nice Japanese Medalist clone.

I just added What Browning describes as the different reel sizes. it is located in the bottom left hand corner of the last photo.
