I just encountered a brief reference to Hardy building its glass blanks in a plant built for them by Fisher in the UK, This the first I heard of this and I'd like to learn more -- but not by 'hijacking' that thread.

Does Hardy still get their glass blanks from that facility? If not, were blanks made from Hardy there the same or similar to the Fisher blanks in the SA System rods?

I've never laid hands on a Hardy glass rod. Input from users on their characteristics would be interesting.
