Hoping someone more worldly than I can explain to me what "J.S.A." refers to on this Epoxite blank:

Image

Tried to align images as they appear on blank. For the life of me, can't get a mental picture as to what J.S.A. and #7 Line might have in common

and Happy New Year

what he said - I think it's also missing No. 6 (or No. 7)
Anyway, starting at the top - congratulations on the find.

My Phillipsons all say “Made in U.S.A.” so likely some more missing text on the second line too, so Bulldog must be spot on there. Definitely try it with 6 and 7 wt lines and see what you like best. Should be a really fun rod to enjoy in the New Year.

Best answer right here, and from a Canadian.

Shirimpman, you may have to explain to a large portion of this forum that sick means tops.

rather than geography, I was thinking more in terms of seniority.
