This beautiful rod was made in 1979, so it's 40 years old. When "she" turned thirty came to my house and it's still here. I used it only once, I should say I tried to fish with it just for an hour or so.. It's quite heavy to be used as a normal fly rod, with one hand. I was thinking to make an under grip and use it as a switch rod - with both hands.

A nice big-river rod, that wouldn't wear you out swinging wet flies - if you think about what Dame Juliana was fishing swinging wets, your pretty rod is a lightweight.
