Hi all

I'm just curious to know If this rod is glass or graphite, can't find any info.
Diamondback DRG7034 2 piece, I think it may be graphite?

Thanks
Matt

I found the rod you're asking about, and the listing doesn't answer the question - the black blank is sure pretty.
Might contact Andy - aka Glass Master - who used to work there - share the listing with him, he may be able to tell from looking at the photos.

From everything I've read it sounds like your rod is most likely graphite...does it have IM6 notation on rod.

Its Graphite, DRG7034: Diamondback Rod Graphite 7ft 3/4wt. The "diamondweave" pattern on them, was done with a woven fiberglass scrim.

I think I found that listing on Ebay, if it is the one you were looking at, that is a custom build, not a Factory Rod. In my opinion, over priced for a used rod.
Factory rods retailed from about $375 to $425 from the time period that the Grey colored blanks were around.

Thanks guys!

I wasn't seriously looking at it to buy, It's listed from Japan if that's the same one, It looks a lot like glass so was curious about it.

thanks
Matt

Nice rods, but that's way over priced.
