I was going through some of my fly rods and came across a South bend deluxe fly rod 32076 7 1/2 I forgot I had.Its a power taper forged tubular glass and it looks a lot different from the other south bend fly rods Ive seen. Its a light rod and and has a good whip action to it.Does anyone know much about this rod such as the power taper?

Hello, I came across your post, and I realize it's from long ago, but I have one of those in my shop. I plan to add some guides to it and do some other modifications. My impression is that it carries a DT 6 or a 7. It carries a nice loop and is a decent roll caster. I could see throwing big flies to bass or even a short streamer rod. I am also trying to find out some history. Kind Regards, John P. Rivera, Owner of The Fly Rod Company in Idaho Falls, ID
