Nice stash of Fenwicks. What line weight do you like on your FF84 C?

Thanks. I’ve only thrown a 406 DT5 on it. That felt pretty good.

Do you have a FF84? What line do you prefer?

I have one the same year as yours, and it likes a DT5 also. There’s no recommended line weight on the rod.

Some pretty impressive collections om this board. Haven't aquired new glass in a while, but I have and fish four fiberglass rods:

Barclay Progressive 7'8" #4
Barclay Progressive 7'10" #5
********* 8'6" #5 - built by Chris Barclay
McFarland Black S-glass 8'6" #6/7 - built by Chris Barclay

Thinking I missed out on something great when Chris discontinued his parabolic series.

Getting into salmon fishing and rod building last season, and adding a few graphite blanks I built up for that application:
Meiser CX 9'6" #7 single hander
Meiser Highlander S 11'9" #4 two hander
Meiser MKS 13' #7/8 two hander

Also, I feel that a rod collection i only half way complete without the reels that match the rods, I include these as well:
Hardy Bougle 3"
Hardy Perfect 3 1/8"
Hardy Marquis LWT 6wt + spool
Hardy Marquis LWT 7wt + spool
Danielsson Original 2W
Danielsson L5W 6-nine
Danielsson L5W 8-twelve

I keep meaning to get another reel but I keep putting what should be reel money towards a new rod.

along that line, his website www.wmharmsrods.com points to some stock extreme sports? site.
Does anyone know if he's still in business?
Admittedly, I hadn't heard of him so if there is some relevant history, I'd like to know it.

I like the rods very much. They are slow, deeply flexing rods. They are unique rods, although the blanks are MacF’s. The finish, done by Mr. Harms, are beautiful as is the finish work in general.

This thread is a problem, I see so many rods I would like to have.

Mark, I look at your list and it makes a good list of what I should keep, sell and buy.
