I was lucky enough to receive as a gift a five split boo rod. Directly from his maker.
It's a 6,6' # 3 , perfect to dry fly fishing for streams and creeks.Rod has my name written near handle, and the name of maker just above mine.

Alberto Poratelli I meet at an fly fishing fair wanted to know me and make me know his rod to test it . It was a great honor to me. I'm a common flyfisherman, not an expert.
Then he asked me my impressions around the rod and told me the rod was mine....!I didn't believe it was true ! Never had a similar rod before into my life. I love this man !
So next step was buying a Terenzio silk line to match to the roddie.
I'm very happy with them now.
On the other side, this great adventure cost me loosing friendship by my beloved friend, personal master of casting. He wanted not believe at all rod was a gift. Life gives great moments of happiness and great delusions together....
