Thanks from yet another Phillipson admire. These later catalogs are a bit more consistent in representation of the models than his earlier ones. I think because he built for so many other houses. Sometimes there are model numbers that come close but drop a prefix letter or add one, and appear to match a particular model - however, they may have a different color or finish, sometimes grips or seats or number of guides. Same thing with some of the later builds, but not nearly as often.

Glad you put them up. They are a real benefit in providing information that helps lend a fuller understanding of Phillipson's output over his considerably lengthy career.

Okay...I'll ask. Looking at the designations of the fly rods...Dry Fly, Light Dry Fly, Ext. Lt. Fly, etc. ???? Had no idea a fly rod taper could be so precise.....

The hosting site for those images (www.pixelarchitecture.com) seems to be down.

It might be a good time to think about how we are going to save all these pictures if photobucket goes down. There's just too much good information on this forum to loose.
