First meaningful stream time of the year. It went well, all things considered.
The state was conducting an electroshock survey on my stream of choice
and I had forgotten about the herring run, so I had to wait to pods of fish to
move through.
The set up of the day was my usual for these Cape streams;
the RF60, an MG-3, a Barrio DT5, and a trusty spruce fly.

Great shots and we have had some very nice weather recently to get out here in Mass. I love catching brookies on fiberglass rods. Thanks for sharing your outing.

Brings back memories of my years in RI. Fully shaded, overhung brooks where even the state fisheries folks said the were no trout, yet I caught many brookies. Thanks for the pictures.

Beautiful little stream and nice brookies! Can't go wrong with a short Phillipson on those streams.

Nice trout, nice streams. Looks a lot like streams on the North Shore near Ipswich and Boxford, lived there 12 years. I would give anything to be back in MA this time of the year!

Beautiful! That type of stream and fishing is right up my alley. Love the MG-3 and the Spruce fly too.

Nice pics! My Long Island streams look similar.
