Recently enjoyed my first experience chasing Redfish. We explored the marshes and rivers around Charleston, S.C. for 3 days and I managed to boat 3 nice fish using an Echo Bad Ass Glass Quickshot 8-weight. Big Fun!

Nice report and great photos! I’ve been trying to plan a trip to catch some redfish with a friend in Charleston. His boat looks similar to the one in your pictures.

Did you have any trouble making shots in the wind with your Echo 8wt?

Looks To me like you’ve fully embraced the
“Last 40 feet” mantra ..

You need to head back in the fall when those giant reds show up ..
