Was going through some of my rods and found the above mentioned Fenwick. Is this really a 3 weight? The label reads: FF90-3 9' 41/8 oz.
Is there posted anywhere on this site any Fenwick catalogues listing suggested line weights for their various models? It is a C series rod.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks Dick creekyknees

The 90-3 is an awesome 6 weight rod for fishing still water. And like the label of my 90-3 it is also great as a 7 weight. This Fenwick is a go-to rod for fishing a local shore-fishing-only reservoir that contains good size trout and smallmouth bass. It helps reach some of the fish beyond the reach of my shorter rods. Because of the swing weight, I fish it in combination with an 8 foot rod. I hope you get to enjoy it!
