Sure enough. One can wait for hours, days even, to see wolves in YNP. There are folks that spend the entire year trying to spot one. Well, my better half and I were in YNP to fish the day before yesterday and on our way in we were rewarded with a pack of a dozen. Just have to be in the right place at the right time I guess. :) Check it out.

How fortunate. I remember seeing a bunch of spotters in the Lamar valley once. Some reported successful sightings, some tales of woe. Hope successful fishing was an added bonus.

Thanks for sharing! I was hoping to spot some wolves in YNP last year, but the wolves eluded me. I’m not sure if it’s possible to top a day of spotting wolves and catching a few fish in YNP.

wow. We were in YNP on Sunday afternoon, I was amazed at how busy it still is, thought the traffic would have died down a bit by now.
didn't see any wolves ;-) but several bugling elk bulls with their harems..
