A few days ago I posted pics of Leigh Lake, this is the creek that run for 3 miles out of the lake. Full of brookies cutts and bow, they are healthy little buggers but like most creeks up here you have to fish long and hard to catch a 10" fish. The sheer quantity makes up for it, every spot that looks like it should have a fish has 3-4 of em. Rod is a telescoping 7+ft thing, really a nice 6wt. Guides are so small my nail knot needs to be shoved through the guide by tiptop. I included a bunch of water shots, I enjoy fishy looking water that other members post. Life is good.

Nice. Reminds me of a different western Montana that a buddy and I fished for 5-6 miles. Bunch of healthy little cutts. We quickly realized what the day was going to bring and my friend decided to try to catch a hundred fish, and I decided to get one of those 10 inchers. He succeeded, I did not. Still a memorable day. But, sadly, we had no canine companions.

Beautiful! I love small water. Could just as easily be in the Smokies. That looks like a neat telescoping rod.

Upstream, reminds me of fishing with my ex FIL 20 years ago, we were fishing one of the little creeks, he wouldn't stop, FINALLY he says "That's 110 fish. I'm done"
