I love southern CO and the guys in Conejos Angler are always friendly and receptive. You should have had them take you to the area where horses are stolen. That is where the trophies are...or once were. ;)

Aurelio you inspire us all. My son had access to a cabin up north of Durango this past week. I showed him some your posts on this site which inspired him and his wife to hike 3 miles to a high mountain creek. They caught a bunch of Brookies and are now hooked on hike in small creek fishing. It's great but I loaned them my Scott F2 653/3 and my Scott F1 764/3 plus a Kineya and an Islander IR2. I think I've seen the last of the rods and reels but I'm happy they've discovered the joys of hiking and fishing.

Small stream pocket water and 12” brookies - that’s as good as it gets. Nice trip - please take another!

Great trip Aurelio! It is tough to find great small stream pocket water that includes 12" fish...especially cutts! Well done. Hoping circumstances allow us to link up at the end of August!
