Most trout streams/rivers in Japan have too many anglers and it is difficult to fish satisfactorily.
It takes some effort to meet a lot of trout.

A piece of 1 pound beef.
After enjoying tough hiking and fishing, we weren't satisfied with the amount of meat at 1 pound per person.

Great photos! I hope to do some fishing in Hokkaido and Tohoku once international travel returns to normal. Your photos help to keep that plan alive.

Hokkaido and Tohoku are high-value areas to travel. Besides fishing, there are many other attractive things, food, festivals, landscapes…I hope we can return to normal life as soon as possible.
