After a long trek back from N.M. we shook off the road nasties and headed out to our home waters. "Home Waters " being a stretch. Anyway, as often is the case I was reduced to being the guide/ghillie for my better half. Mostly because she has the ability to put me to shame now and again stream side. Sometimes I'd be better off just leaving my rod in the truck.
Here are a couple of photos of a really neat 20" rainbow she took after an 18" brown she took just a few minutes earlier. She had a great day to say the least. These trout were rising to a solid hatch of #12 Goldens and #16 Little Yellow Sallies. Enjoy!
