After a long trek back from N.M. we shook off the road nasties and headed out to our home waters. "Home Waters " being a stretch. Anyway, as often is the case I was reduced to being the guide/ghillie for my better half. Mostly because she has the ability to put me to shame now and again stream side. Sometimes I'd be better off just leaving my rod in the truck. :) Here are a couple of photos of a really neat 20" rainbow she took after an 18" brown she took just a few minutes earlier. She had a great day to say the least. These trout were rising to a solid hatch of #12 Goldens and #16 Little Yellow Sallies. Enjoy!

Nice! Boy do I know that feeling of being outfished. Alexis learned to cast at the Joan Wulff School and we spent a weekend every year fishing with Ed Shenk and Joe Humphreys in PA when we lived in NY. She can usually fish circles around me on any given day.

Of course we waded wet. The water was a comfortable 52 degrees. Besides , is there another way to wade? :)

That is very important. I always have to make an effort to keep that in mind...
