I have been down a rabbit hole fishing nymphs on long graphite rods in the Driftless. Sunday I returned to my 7'2'' 4wt Driftless Special to fish bluegills. I was ecstatic after catching a few fish. I couldn't help but think that I wanted to fish lighter. So I am going to get in the queue for both of these rods.

Is anyone fishing these rods and can give me a good line recommendation?

If you are stillwater bluegill fishing, I greatly enjoyed my 68L last weekend lined with Rio CamoLux WF3I. Bluegills and crappie were an absolute hoot with that setup. Fished mainly #12 bobtail buggers.

I have a Gila and fish a 406 DT. Chris recommended the line.

The SA amplitude DT is like a well broken in silk line on the blue ridge special, it’s a beautiful dry fly line! Chris also recommended the new SA Creek in a WF2 on the blue ridge as it’s designed one size heavy.

The 68L… a more accurate and slightly stronger rod than the Scott F2 653 and better looking to boot!
