Broke in the CTS Turbo Taper 8.6 # 5. What an excellent lake rod medium fast action with great butt power and a nice soft tip. I was able to muscle several of theses bass away from the dam rocks before they could break me off. This rod cast a type 3 full sink just wonderfully. Can’t wait to take it trout fishing. 50 to 60 ft. casts from a tube were a breeze.
Thanks for looking!

Clayton/ Robert, I really like this rod it has a stronger butt section and a little softer tip than the standard CTS blanks. It’s on the fast side of medium fast and seems faster than my Epic or Orvis SFG. Close to an ideal glass Stillwater rod. The tip will protect light tipper when midge fishing. Last night I completed one of Dusty’s new tapers a Western 8’3” 3 piece 5 wt. I plan to search for some Jurassic bluegill with it on Thursday.
