So I started with his 7'3" 2/3 weight for small brookies, etc., and loved its sweet action, but with enough backbone to punch out some line if I had to. Made 8" fish feel like fun.

Decided to order a 8' 3/4 weight, and when I placed the order, he gave me a fair delivery time frame and said they were starting to slow their schedule down. I decided that I better go ahead and also order the 8' 4/5, not knowing if they would be available from Mark in the future.

Having had a chance to fish with them all, they all have that sweet action that his blanks are known for. But I have to say, the 8' 3/4 is something special. So smooth, and can hand everything from a dry fly midge to a weighted nymph rig - just a delight to cast, balanced in hand and fun with a fish on.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on his rods. Not that he needs any more affirmation.
