Today, at 7 AM the water temp was in the low 60s and the LMB were crushing between 2 and 6 feet deep up and down the face of the dam. I used my green ********* 8’6” Western 5 wt. which is a beefed up version of the older CTS blank Western 5. I fished a size 12 bloody leech to entice the fish. With the cooler water these fish really pulled hard and bent the ********* down near the grip.

SpeyDragon, the bluegills will start to show by the end of April they like water closer to 70 degrees. Last year I caught the big ones from July to October.
