I had the 6'6" 2 piece rod for a while and loved it, now I want to build the 6'6" 6 piece blank for bike touring, but see that the series is no longer offered. As far as I know, this series has been around since the 80's or earlier, why would they discontinue it during the biggest Fiberglass resurgence the sport has ever seen?

Does anyone know of anyone that still has a stock of these?

I think you are SOL as far as multi piece Lami’s. I believe they stopped making them some years ago. There is a honey 6pc on a the auction site at the moment. As for 2pc blanks, they have been out of stock for a while also. Don’t know if they are still planning on selling them. Check directly with the factory in Woodland, Wa.

Thanks, yeah I seen the one on ebay, it's about $250 overpriced for that build quality. I've dropped a line to Lamiglas, we'll see what they say. I'm guessing a shop somewhere still has some stock left, I think I'll call Corens in Chicago today also.

You never know where they will pop up. I snagged a 6pc 4wt blank a couple of months ago a member was selling on the forum. I know another member that was a little behind me in seeing it. So, keep your eyes open and check frequently, on the big auction sight too.

That Lami on the auction site has a “Make Offer” option. I have to believe they have figured out by now that they are about $100 above the market. You’ll never know unless you ask.

...or make an offer! I made an offer some time ago on a Heddon 300 fly that was in Japan. The Buy It Now price was, in my opinion, outrageous. Made an offer that was reasonable and it was accepted. You never know.

Look for a used brush creek companion built on the 6pc. 6’6”.Found one last year and had Chris make me a new case cause the lammy case was way to big fits perfect in my panniers and backpack. After trying different lines I found the SA Master Trout wf 4 to be perfect for me.........Aurelio
