Fun with my Morgan

Was fishing a tailwater not far from Boston and yes, it's pretty much the only option for cold water around here this time of year so it's crowded as hell.



But the fish are pretty, and was nice to break in my new to me reel :-)

Looks just right on the Morgan 7 weight I built years ago. Just love throwing streamers with that rod ....

Those are some nice lookin' fish.

I almost hate to say this, but when I first read the topic, I for some reason immediately thought of a morgan horse. Very happy to find out it was a fly rod instead. :-)

Ha - being a non-equestrian I've never heard of a Morgan Horse, so add one more thing I've learned today!
